  • How much do you charge?

    As we offer customised contracts, we do not have a standard pricing option. When creating a quotation/contract we consider all your requirements to ensure a full personal service.


  • Do you charge booking fees?

    We don’t charge anything extra other than VAT, which is clearly stated in the quotation provided to you.

  • How much notice do I need to give to end my contract?

    Domestic customers are offered a monthly rolling contract and commercial contracts have the option of giving us just 90 days' notice. 

  • What if I need to cancel or change a cleaning slot?

    As long as you have given us enough notice, there is no charge.

  • Do you charge more on weekends or Bank Holidays?

    For domestic contracts we do, but commercial contracts are the same price whatever time of day, or the day of the year.

  • What if my regular cleaner is off sick or on holiday?

    For commerical contracts, you will have a team of cleaners within your cleaning package. For domestic contracts, you will have one main cleaner and a couple of backup cleaners to cover any absences. You will have the option to cancel should your regular cleaner be absent.

  • Can I call you anytime?

    You can call us on 01743 211303 or email us enquiries@cavendishcleaning.co.uk anytime. Our out of hours service will take messages and if the call is deemed as an emergency, management will call you back straight away.

  • Do you provide cleaning materials and equipment?

    Yes, for commercial customers, we provide everything that you need so you don’t have to supply anything. For domestic customers, we ask that you provide only a vacuum, mop and bucket and leave the rest to us.

  • I have pets/children, is this a problem?

    That is no problem at all. We ensure that we will do a risk assessment prior to any cleaning package starting. All of our staff are also risk assessment trained, so will know how to reduce risks. In most cases we just ask that the pets/children are in another room in which we are not cleaning. A fish in a tank or hamsters in a cage would be acceptable to stay in the room!

  • Are your staff insured?

    Yes all staff are fully insured. Proof of this is available on request.

  • Are the staff police checked?

    All of our staff are required to undergo an enhanced DBS, which covers working with children and the elderly. This is because we also cover schools and social care settings, along with our other domestic and commercial cleaning contracts.

  • Are the staff trained?

    All staff are required to undergo online training and shadowing with an experienced member of staff before they work independently. This is usually around a 1 to 2 week induction process when they first start with us.
